Role Overview

The Head – Resource Mobilization will play a critical role in driving the organisation’s growth by securing funding through CSR partnerships, institutional donors, and strategic alliances. This role goes beyond proposal writing—it requires ownership of the entire fundraising lifecycle, from opportunity identification to closure and relationship management.


Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising Strategy & Pipeline Development

  • Identify, map, and prioritize CSR and institutional funding opportunities
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective donors
  • Develop and execute resource mobilization strategies aligned with organizational goals

2. Proposal Development & Conversion

  • Lead the creation of high-quality proposals, concept notes, and presentations
  • Customize proposals based on donor priorities and thematic focus
  • Work closely with program and finance teams to develop strong, realistic budgets
  • Drive proposal-to-conversion outcomes

3. CSR & Institutional Partnerships

  • Build and manage relationships with CSR leaders, foundations, and funding agencies
  • Represent the organization in donor meetings, presentations, and forums
  • Ensure strong engagement and long-term partnerships with donors

4. Donor Communication & Reporting

  • Oversee donor reporting (narrative and financial) with high quality and timeliness
  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements and expectations
  • Strengthen donor confidence through transparent communication

5. Internal Collaboration & Knowledge Management

  • Work closely with program, M&E, and leadership teams to gather insights and data
  • Build a repository of proposals, case studies, and impact stories
  • Strengthen internal systems for efficient proposal development

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 18 - 20 years of experience in resource mobilization, CSR partnerships, or institutional fundraising
  • Proven track record of successful fundraising and proposal conversions
  • Strong understanding of the CSR landscape and donor ecosystems in India
  • Excellent writing, storytelling, and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and represent the organization externally
  • Experience in youth development, skilling, education, or livelihoods sector preferred
