Role Overview
The Manager – People & Administration will play a dual role of driving people-centric initiatives while ensuring smooth administrative operations across the organization. This role is critical to building a strong work culture, fostering employee engagement, and enabling effective systems that support the organization’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
People & Culture
- Lead end-to-end employee lifecycle processes (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning & development, exits).
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to strengthen organizational culture.
- Partner with managers to support team development, conflict resolution, and career growth.
- Ensure policies and practices are updated, compliant, and employee-friendly.
- Lead initiatives around diversity, equity, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Administration
- Oversee day-to-day office administration, vendor management, and facility management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, labor laws, and organizational policies.
- Manage contracts, service providers, and procurement processes effectively.
- Oversee logistics, travel arrangements, and asset management.
- Drive digital adoption in administrative systems for efficiency.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people management skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities across people and administrative functions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR/administration tools.
Educational & Professional Background
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 6–8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in NGOs/social development sector will be an added advantage.
