Role Summary

As the Manager – Employee Experience, you will lead initiatives that make our organization a place where people feel valued, heard, and motivated to do their best work. You’ll be responsible for enhancing employee experiences across the lifecycle—from onboarding to exit—and shaping a culture of care, collaboration, and continuous feedback.

Key Responsibilities


Onboarding & Induction

  • Design welcoming and inclusive onboarding experiences that help new team members settle in and connect with our mission.
  • Ensure every new joiner feels supported and guided through their first 90 days.


Engagement & Communication

  • Run regular employee check-ins, feedback loops, and pulse surveys.
  • Organize town halls, team events, and cross-functional engagement activities.
  • Help managers and team leads become better communicators and culture ambassadors.


Culture & Belonging

  • Strengthen a values-based work culture through recognition, rituals, and storytelling.
  • Lead celebrations of milestones like birthdays, anniversaries, and small wins.

Well-being & Support

  • Roll out well-being programs that support mental, emotional, and physical health.
  • Build a supportive ecosystem for staff to access help, guidance, or coaching when needed.

Feedback & Exit Experience

  • Conduct stay interviews, feedback sessions, and exit interviews to gather actionable insights.
  • Use data to identify trends and recommend improvements in policies and practices.

What We’re Looking For


Must-Haves:
  • 4–7 years of experience in employee engagement, HR, or organizational development.
  • A passion for people and creating positive workplace experiences.
  • Strong facilitation, listening, and empathy skills.
  • Ability to work across teams and build trust at all levels.

Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience in the development / social impact sector.
  • Exposure to DEI, employee well-being, or learning and development programs.
  • Comfort with tools like MS Excel, Google Suite, or survey platforms.
