We are seeking an experienced and dedicated People Manager to join our non-governmental organization (NGO). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, managing HR functions, and ensuring the well-being of our diverse team. The People Manager will work closely with Head People to implement HR strategies that align with the organization's mission, values, and objectives.


Responsibilities:


Strategic HR Planning:

  • Collaborate with Head People to forecast and plan for current and future human resource needs.


Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive introduction to the organization's culture and values.


Employee Relations:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and job satisfaction.


Performance Management:

  • Implement and oversee performance appraisal processes.
  • Guide managers on performance improvement plans and professional development opportunities.


Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate relevant professional development programs.
  • Support career growth and skill enhancement for employees.


Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in benefits administration.


HR Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Keep policies and procedures up-to-date and communicate changes to the organization.


Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records.
  • Generate reports and analytics to support informed decision-making.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources
  • Proven experience as an HR professional, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and MS Office Suite.
